Marketing is something that we all need to do but as an artist it is never my strongest suit!!! I understand that I am a totally visual person so the marketing that appeals to someone like me are images and that is where I gravitate!! Create images that represent you and what you can deliver and don't be afaraid to ask for help!!! Below are some samples of signs and boards that I use often
I had the opportunity to recently play with the Wiser One Stencils, which are an awesome alternative to the traditonal Air Brush Stenciling that is done worldwide. These Stencils are so realistic and look like actual “tattoos” so much so that you can fool anyone. This air brush technique is great for themed parties for adults or middle and high schoolers as well and can be done in color, UV or simple black and will have that incredible WOW factor. Brett was on his way to an 80’s event so we gave him a full sleeve just for fun. It was a blast to do and I can see this at any adult party or concert venue.
One of the largest and most successful fundraising organizations aiding HIV/AIDS, DIFFA is a non-profit service provider with chapters in Dallas, New York City, Chicago, Kansas City, San Francisco and Seattle.
The Dallas chapter, formed in 1984, is the only HIV/AIDS organization in Texas that provides funding to local HIV/AIDS Service Organizations within our community. DIFFA/Dallas has granted more than $7 million to over 25 front line HIV/AIDS Service Organizations in North Texas providing direct care to those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Highlighting the design community, DIFFA/Dallas hosts multiple events throughout the season including Burgers & Burgundy, DIFFA/Dallas Wreath Collection and House of DIFFA. Through your support and generosity, we are able to make a significant impact in our community.
Every 2 years or so they have an extire section devoted to some form of body painting, which makes for an awessome opportunity for those of us that enjoy that art form. It is always an Epic show and an honor to be included in that event. Thank you Candy Smith, Amy Walker and Vicki Long for an excellent day!!!
Body Con 2016 was awesome. Thanks to Guinnevere Courvoisier for putting this event together again for us in Texas even though she does live in this state anymore!!! There was an excellent line up of instructors and vendors, which you can read more about on the Body Con Facebook Page. I was asked to give two classes...Beginners Body Painting and Fast Scary Boy Faces, which I love doing. Below are some samples of fun, hope to see you all there next year!!!!
